breathing

does anyone find breathing via their nose hard ? i always breath through my mouth but ive heard its not that good,

its almost as if i can hear myself breathing via my nose, maybe my nostril is to narrow ? :confused:

anyone else have similar problems

Yeah... were you ever a smoker or passive smoker? My parents smoking while I was a kid ****ed up my breathing system. I can breathe, but sometimes I "forget" to breathe (happened recently, for about 25 seconds - god, that was scary), and sometimes I actually can't. I'm always sniffing and coughing up phlegm and stuff... it's nasty.

But if you can breathe, I don't see it getting much worse. :smile:

See a doctor if you're worried, as with anything like this.

I've never heard of it. Doesn't mean I didn't do it. :smile:

I'd actually be interested if anyone else had ever gone through this, or known someone who had. I was just lying there and suddenly I felt my chest go tight and I went light-headed, and I realised I hadn't breathed for ages. :confused:

Stone cold sober and so on too.

i have issues breathing through my nose, its down to my allergy to pollen. It makes my nostrils swell up and clog up easily with mucus.

yeh, but im not allergic to hay, im just being pedantic(sp?). Seems daft anyway, i never used to suffer but then the uk started farming mustard seed and rape alot more. Now theres fields and fields of it and i suffer like a mad en.

um ... no

I don't like breathing through my nose, I've always had problems with it. I didn't realise it wasn't that normal til my boyfriend pointed out that I sleep with my mouth open. Sometimes I can do it, but if I try to, more often than not I end up gasping for air!

My friend has really narrow nostrils so she cant breathe properly through her nose... she just sounds as though she has a constant cold if she does.

I always breathe through my mouth sometimes make a conscious effort not to but it still sounds weird basically in similar situation I am Asthmatic though and parents used to smoke but most of the time have blocked nose even now its summer for pete's sake. Don't know what I do when kissing girls probably will pass out one of these days. LOL

yeee i ahve that, i always breathe through my mouth..for my i have sinus problems , so its hard to brethe because one side of my nostril is more blocked than the other..the passage is blocked by swolen muscle or something:s ..it might be a gentic thing cos my dad and all his brothers have it.

You may have nasal polyps. (Emphasis on the "may"!)
Have you ever been checked out at the doctors? They should be able to tell you if there are any polyps or if you have narrow nasal passages.
