I have a couple of practical assessments coming up and have been given the 'titles' but am completely baffled as to what they'll entail.

The titles are:
'Investigate the effect NaCl concentration on activity of yeast cells'
'Investigate hydrolysis of sucrose by immobilised invertase and by immobilised yeast cells'

Was just wondering if anyone could give me some hints as to what topics to revise specifically

So far we have studied:
Respiration
Photosynthesis
Some genetics
Excretion
Homeostasis and nervous systems

Any help much appreciated

Thanks!!

You should revise pH levels and their effect on yeast function (and enzymes). I'd also make sure you cover enzymes. You'll most likely be given graphs and tables to analyse, and make sure you know the difference between 'explain' and 'describe' questions.

The leaf ISA is a quantitative experiment, with an evaluative (like normal) it's really easy just make sure you read the questions
