2)Ask these questions:
Who has produced this representation?
What was their intended effect?
Who is the target audience?
How does this affect the representation?
What is the institutional/genre context?
How does this effect the representation?
3)What is the preferred reading(s)?
What is the oppositional reading(s)?
4) Look at the representation as:
-A liberal pluralist
and explain these answers
5) MUST still use Media Language
MUST perform semiotic analysis
Try to get lots of different institutions representing the same thing (e.g. self-representation)
