GCHQ Assessment Tests - anyone been?!

I'm sure theres plenty of TSR members who have been to this, so I'm hankering for some advice.

I'm going to phone in advance and ask for a little more info on the tests, but if anyone can expand on #2 below I'd be eternally grateful. Well, not quite eternally, but I'd give you some chocolate coins and some juicey rep. :cool:

Day's line up:
1) 2 ability tests (verbal and numerical)
2) 1 Analysts written exercise
3) 1 personality questionnaire

Hehe I doubt their ability tests are top secret....

So TSR is telling me that no wannabe spies have been to this assessment. Lies, all lies! :p:

Ow man I fudged up the letters again. GC, CG, QC, GQ? Argh!!

Most ability tests you can practice for, but did you have to do a 'analysts written exercise' ??

Just a hint - don't post on internet forums that you're applying there :wink:

it's not quite as bad as MI5 & 6 but not the kind of thing they're keen on. Also, if you're wanting specifics, you might like to post which stream you're interested in (Technologist, Applied Researcher, Graduate Management, etc.) cos they may well have different things for each scheme.

I've decided not to go now anyway, I can't even fooking afford to travel to the test centre, and I'm hardly assessment centre material. (Can you tell I'm not interested in this job one bit?) :rofl:
