Mortal enemies have the hottest sex?

Ok this is such a messed up situation... we've been hating each other ever since we met, and yet now things seem different, he isn't being an ass anymore and he is being very friendly, and i think I may be feeling something for him, which I didn't think possible. Well here's the deal: what are the chances of this working out? Can we really just forget the past and accept each other, with all our good and bad sides? Also we're going to the same uni.
comments welcome, i'm so lost any randomness will still be appreciated
What makes you think people can't change?

Edit: and why the choice of thread title?

Why did you hate each other in the first place?

good question... I guess we just didn't click from the beginning

I'd say it's possible, of course it could equally be a disaster. Just deal with it like you normally would, and everything should be fine.

First impressions aren't that reliable. Some people have off days. There are a million reasons why you didn't 'click'. Most people don't 'click' and alot of the ones that do end up getting divorced because they realise that a 'click' isn't enough.

Give it a go - whats the worst that can happen?

Just wipe the slate clean, espeically if you can't think of a reason why you didn't get on in the first place.

Sounds like good advice Stimulato. Unless you can identify a reason why you dislike each other, start afresh.

Hardly sounds like you were "mortal enemies". Loads of people who go out with eachother have a bit of a bitchy relationship to start with, all because of the tension between the two.

May I ask why you ended up having sex with him? And now wonder if you want a relationship with him?

So you're just incredibly attracted to him? A guy and a girl who bitch at eachother and claim to "hate eachother's guts" is just a typical scenario for the start of a relationship. How many people deal with attraction by saying "you're hot, I like you"? You deal it in your own way and many people do that by actually acting stand-offish.
