Made To Pay for Shorts....

Hi, I asked if I could try a pair of shorts in in Tk Maxx and the man said yes and then when I came out some other man was like no you can't try them on and you need to pay for them now... I did but are they allowed to do that?

Any clothes which don't go over your underwear should be paid for if you try them on.

If it made contact with your lower area, then yes you should have to pay for them.

However since he didn't make you aware of this, you were well within your rights to deny payment on the grounds of being mislead.
