Broken Hearted and Too old?
Found out last week that my fiancee cheated on me,so i have sent him packin (we were living together). Everywhere i look now, everybody is goin steady and i feel really old now to be 'cuirtin a fella'! i am 22 years old, just graduated as a teacher...am i too old?!?!?!
Of course you are not too old! Most people only settle down in when they get a bit older anyway and a lot of the people who are in relationships in their late teens and early twenties will end up breaking up. I really don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you go out and meet people.
If the town you are in is so small that there is hardly anyone there you could consider moving as I am sure there are teaching posts all over the place. As long as you put yourself out and meet people I really don't believe you will have any problems. At 22 you are still very young and there are loads of single people at that age and older!

I only hope thats true...but i live in a wee town in rural Ireland where childhood sweethearts do end up marryin up each other! Aw well...
They might be sticking with people who have cheated on them. You'd be surprised. Anyhoo, if the town's too small, run away! Run free! Fly away butterfly! ...or join the local ballroom dancing club, so you can meet fun guys, whichever you prefer.

Sucks, but too old? I doubt it, 22 is hardly a million years old is it? And there are plenty more fish in the sea, ones that aren't 2 timing pricks.
Best rid of him, find someone who will love you, and treat you with respect, and not cheat on you, especially as you were engaged.

Well you would feel that, as him cheating on you has no doubt seriously dented your confidence. As hard as it is to try not let ut get to you, will be hard not to.
Other fellas will be interested, just find the right one. Not some prick.
Im sure there is nothing wrong with you, but him cheating on you, was a stupid thing, even if he does try and make it up to you, he still cheat on you, and broke your heart. Foregiveness shouldn't even be thought of at all.

Yea a lot of people are tellin ,e to enjoy life and live it to the full..but i wanna enjoy it for a year or 2 and then settle down....! i just feel like that i will be 2 late by then! x
Whats the rush to settle down? Would only regret rushing in, enjoy your life as a singleton, single life is great, wouldnt want it any other way.
Im 21, and i am far from Planning to settle down yet thats for sure. I want to have more fun in my life yet.
Its never too late to settle down, even at 35+, thats still not too old to settle down, and from now to then, you can just enjoy life, and do what you want to do.
Maybe you think, as you havn't got a boyfriend now, no one would ever want you again? Im sure thats not true, get out there and knock em all out. Have a good time with mates. Im sure they will help you get over your ex.

- Got my Head Screwed on too.You'd be an idiot to take him back, and if your mates have told you he has cheated on you, then im sure they are telling the truth, mates don't lie to you like that. I don't think they will think of you as a loner, just because you ain't had a b/f for a week and a bit. What about people that are single for years and years? They still have mates, and still have a laugh, without partners.

Secondly, no, you're not too old! Lol, who told you that? I'm 26 this year, no intention of getting married yet and enjoying being single and dating.
Come on!! Get your girly mates together and go out and have fun! Spend some time on your own!
