Hi. My daughter has only applied for three courses and her tutor has suggested she apply for another two but she can't see any she likes. She wants to study drawing, painting, sculpture etc and needs a place which is supportive of traditional artforms.

I would say that Edinburgh, Glasgow, Brighton and Loughborough are certainly supportive of traditional art forms but you'll find a lot of top art schools such as Slade, UAL, Kingston or Goldsmiths are also welcoming to traditional styles. I know of people at all of these universities whose work is very traditional, even though the courses themselves are more well known for new media and installation work.
