Taking a gap year
Just wondering whether I'd have a better chance of a place at Oxbridge or LSE for Economics if I take a gap year and do some work. The main reason is I think my A2 grades will be Impressive.
Currently I have 5 AS grades at A, and an A in A2 critical thinking. All the AS's had over 90% ums. I think I can confidently say I'll get 4A*, at least 3 this year. So, will my application look better with my final grades but with a gap year? Thanks. (Currently I've applied for the 'wrong' subject at uni, and am thinking of reaplying next year for Econ) I have 8A* at GCSE.
