Heh, I remember reading so many of these before...
Around last november, i met a girl for the first time when we went on a group outing. We became really good friends and I began to like her and before long, i had an odd feeling about our relationship, that she might actually want to go out with me. The thing is that since i liked her, i put the odd feeling down to my liking of her as opposed to her liking of me. Plus, I was terrified of messing up one of my best friendships and I have never asked out a girl before, nor vice versa.
Well, it turns out that she did like me and for several months in fact. One of her friends' friends told me but went on to mention the girl not thinking i liked her and the fact that she had tried to get over me. Whether she was successful I have no idea...
Should I ask her out? (is it worth screwing up such a good friendship just for what probably will be a flawed relationship? Is there any chance she'll still want to go out?)
It's totally worth it. It's not going to screw up your guys friendship if she doesn't like you back. Remember, when you found out htat she once liked you it didn't screw up your friendship either!
This sounds (quite freakishly) like my situation, except it was two novembers ago, and I'm the girl. If my guy asked me out, I'd say yes in an instant, but I'd give him a smack for not telling me he liked me earlier.
But whatever you do, if there's been no indication of her liking you recently, don't ask her out out of the blue. It'd probably backfire, even if she does still like you.
