Not sure GayDar is my sort of website! It seems that half the people aren't real on most of the sites anyway.
Well I did say that wasn't probably what you wanted to hear!
Depends how you behave on that sort of website tbh - if you are CAREFUL but genuine and don't talk to the nobheads who send really ambiguous messages, then you end up talking to, and maybe meeting, the real people!
I'm on one now - but it's something many people do once they've left the social hotpot of uni, are working long hours and don't get the opportunities to meet new people.
plentyoffish.com is quite good, though some weirdos and old people but yeah havent met anyone on it yet though!
I've used POF before, and it seems like chav central, not seen a single person on that I would want to be stuck in an elevator with, let alone go out with.
Gumtree is full of scammers, spammers and crazies, but you do occasionally get someone interesting.
okcupid.com I've had the most luck with, still has it's share of weirdos, but I've found quite a few good dates from it, a couple of really close friends, and one long-term relationship.

For one moment I thought you said 'not seen a single person on that I would want to suck in an elevator'
