Can a university withdraw a conditional offer from you? watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey, basically I had a journalism course interview on Saturday for Lincoln University, and today I recieved a notification for UCAS saying that I got the conditional offer from them.
I've been out all day today and when I cam home my dad told me that Lincoln rang and asked to speak to me. I'm getting really paranoid because I said on my personal statement that I am in an internship for an online magazine...the thing is, I wrote one article for them and quit the next day :/
The lady interviewing me at Lincoln asked for the name of the online magazine and I gave it to her so now I'm worried that she contacted them and they must have told her that I didn't really have an internship because I quit
Can universities withdraw offers ? (I haven't firmed anything btw)

    Thanks! X

If they could and you are correct to be paranoid, i would have thought the phone call would be to discuss why it didnt work out there. However i would have thought that they asked for the name of the company to gauge how important the internship was and not to check up on whether you are lying
