Apparently LSE uses some kind of "lottery system" to assign accommodation to prospective students.
See: http://www.lse.ac.uk/lifeAtLSE/accom...llocation.aspxAre rooms offered on a 'first come, first served' basis?
No. Instead, we use a lottery system to allocate vacancies. Within each two week batch of applications, applicants are assigned a random number and processed in order of this number
What does this mean exactly? I assume that there is no advantage now in applying early.
