I would like to be a stockbroker and am unsure of course would be the most beneficial at university. I'm predicted a or a* in all my GCSE's and think I will take history maths and economics at A2. Any thoughts?
Stockbrokers work a lot with investment products such as securities, bonds, funds, debts etc.. So you obviously have to possess a profound knowledge in finance. The best courses are therefore 1st Finance, 2nd Economics, 3rd Business/Management at university. *Mathematics is also a very beneficial course to take since you need numerical & analytical skills as well.

50 hours a week, minimum. That's 10+ hours a day. Sure you want to be a stockbroker?

Something maths based - economics would be the classic option.

Either that or an investment banker but I'm open to other jobs which are similar/ in the financial sector.
This article explains that you need to jump through quite a few hoops to get into investment banking
