Hi everyone, here are the list of offer I've got:
Durham-Economics & Mathematics A*AA
SOAS- Economics & Development Study AAA
Queen Mary- Economics, Statistics, Mathematics AAB
Leeds- Asian Pacific Study & Economics AAB
My questions are:
1. For working in Finance industry, which one should be the best choice?
2. For being scholar like university professor, which would you recommend?
3. Can you tell me something about Durham's course and Leeds' s course? Seldom of my classmates apply to them. Especially, I can not find enough reviews about the course in Leeds.
Thank you very much!! > <

I am an international student doing A-level program. Before I chose Economics, I had planned to study History in the UK whereas I couldn't because of the limitation of my English--my college could only recommend me to learn History for 1 year A-level if I had got 7 on my IELTS.
At first I did not like Eco at all as I think it contains many maths and was not so romantic as History. However, I find it interesting gradually, and it gives me a sense of achievement when learning it as I am good at maths. Plus, learning Economics can really help me understand and analyse social problems in reality.
Therefore, I am not regretful to choose Eco as my course in university. I chose joint degree, Eco and ...If I choose Eco and Maths, I may probably work in Finance area; if I choose Eco and other art subjects, I can learn what I really like.
I thinking about my job after graduation, too. It seems that Banking/Finance are the best jobs to return the large investment back to my family, while I myself prefer to work as a scholar. People always say that do what you love, what you are interested in, but I would feel guilty if I only think about my love without any consideration for my family.
