I've assessed a number of students on similar courses. If a student would benefit from assistive software to support their learning, such as text to speech software for a dyslexic student, then a laptop computer can be recommended to run the software. In other cases a laptop could be provided to enable a student to access their work if they were unable to travel to university regularly as a result of their condition.

I currently do not own a laptop and hopefully the dsa will allow me to have one! Thank you!
