White  .

I decorated it with posters and pics though.
White. They tend to be white or off white, magnolia or some equally mind numbing bland colour. Almost begging to be covered with photos and posters.....

Magnolia or maybe slightly peachy, but thats because it was quite an antiquated room in one of the traditional blocks from hundreds of years ago, people who were in the new accomodation had white/gray walls  . You can probably expect a very bland colour that will go with most things.
And possibly a rather uncoordinated attempt to accessorise by the uni. My room was white, with blue carpet and orange curtains. Delightful.
My room is magnolia as I think the majority of rented rooms/houses are. It's not worth landlords decorating rooms for someone not to move in due to the colour of the walls etc. However one of my housemates rooms is bright green. Don't think I would have been too happy about that myself.

I just stick my photos and posters and bits and bobs on the walls to make it feel more like my room rather than a room I have to sleep in sometimes. One of my housemats just had a bare room and it just didn't seem cosy or comfortable at all.

A nice off white - breeze block appearance! i am sure it was once white.... but various people have stained it with various substances and bodily fluids etc...

Icky shade of pale green. Other rooms in the flat were a slightly nicer pale yellow.

Needed a tidy up for most of the year to be honest....

Although believe it or not it did see lots of action.

Cleaning and dusting mostly....
All three rooms I've had have been magnolia.
I was quite impressed with my room at uni, it was lilac which was quite nice! Some how I ended up in the only all girls block and the whole block was painted in shades of lilac and purple!
I had really nice yellow walls in my halls. I loved my little room, it had all fairy lights around and pictures covering one entire wall!

My room in my uni house has 3 white walls, and a turqoiuse wall which is lovely
are we allowed to decorate our rooms on the conditiont hat we paint it back to original colour before we leave??

Usually, no. You can stick posters up, but that's about it

I think someone was trying to be a bit trendy in my room. One wall was blue, the others were white. Blue carpet, and an interesting yellow diamond patterned set of curtains.

Splendid.
This is my room at the moment

Although you can't tell the paint behind my bed is light blue.

P.s. sorry about the size of the pics
My room is almost identical to tigger1430 room apart from the wall behind my bed is a lilic/purple colour. The rooms in the block next to me have pink painted behind the bed always felt sorry for the boys in that block.
I know that the room I have next year is all cream, with a green carpet.
I had two rooms last year!! One was pink as it was single sex accommodation, the other was a kind of whity/pinky & strangely, that was multi sex.
2 rooms?
