I applied for Student Finance for 14/15. I am currently 24, will be 25 when I start studying in September, and have been self supporting for over 3 years.

I filled in the application, including course info/uni etc etc, however I was expecting to be asked about my income etc, so SFE can calculate how much I am entitled to, but this didn't come up at all.

When I log in, it says I have applied for Maintenance Loan etc and I have asked for household income to be assessed.

Will I be sent a letter or something asking to see my P60's? Which Is not a problem, I was just expecting to be asked this info when filling in my application.

    Hi MkGuy,

As you will be 25 when your course starts in September, we will not require evidence of your income because you will be classed as an independent student.

How are you feeling about your exams?
