Experimenter bias is the tendency of an experimenter to find what they expect to find. For instance, subconsciously, they manipulate the data of a study, omitting certain recordings and so on to make it seem as though their hypothesis was supported when it actual fact the true data went against it.

Experimenter effects are the ways in which experimenters willingly or unwillingly communicate to participants to influence their behaviour. For instance, smiling at certain answers in a structured interview will make a respondent feel obliged to choose this answer. Experimenter effects can be overcome with the single/double blind method.

Hope this helped!
