Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Chemistry at Bristol or Durham? Any current views on the two uni's?

I know there are some other pages talking about this topic, but there aren't many and they aren't that current, so I was hoping I could get some up to date advice! I am looking to study chemistry and have offers for both bristol and durham, with offers of AAB and A*AA respectively. I am really torn between the two uni's and would appreciate any opinions.
With regards to accommodation I have applied for castle college (university college) at Durham and am still waiting on my response. But for Bristol I am deliberating over whether I should go for accommodation in stoke bishop or in the city(Clifton). Whilst the location of stoke bishop puts me off with regards for nights out etc. it looks as though it has a better community spirit? Any current bristol students have any views for me??
