I'm applying for mathematics and statistics and have an Interview/open day on the 5th of Feb.
On the website it says the requirements are A*AA-AAA but my head of department (his daughter is in 1st year for maths) told me last year it was around AAB-ABB? and Many people said that they weren't gonna get them grades and she got AAA and she was one of the strongest candidates apparently?
So does maths in Manchester go for clearing? And are they lenient with grades. so if you get 1 grade less then they want, will they still accept? I know it depends on each year individually, but what was the case last year?

What's the best type of cheese?
