i dno, i get it too and i'm a bloke. just like to keep it tidy every few months but its ****ing sore for a good week after. waxing probably your best option kiddo, seriously would consider it. Suppose girls be doing that more often so waxing reduces time you have and isn't sore (i don't think - correct me people if i'm wrong.)
i.e sore afterwards, i'm def sure its sore during lol

use loads of shaving foam and moisturise straight afterwards, and exfoliate to stop ingrown hairs, but its just one of the perils of shaving im afraid!

Exfoliate properly and moisturise well.

Unfortunately, if you have really sensitive skin, that just doesn't do the trick.

If your skin is naturally like that, then moisturiser will help but only so much - the irritation is a sign that the skin is not happy, so basically you have to stop doing it to give it a chance to recover. Waxing may work out best as you irritate the skin less often.
It's not a place where you should shave. Some hair removing cream might be better.

If you have very sensitive skin though beware as hair removing cream might be even more painful!
Although you have said that you tried it and it didn't work... so this comment is rather redundant!
