What's the difference between medical jobs on nhs and army

I'm thinking of doing radiography or nursing but I don't know what the differences are between joining up with the army or the nhs. With both, you go to uni and do civilian placements, but I know that your stuck in the army for a few years after your degree. Although the pay be better while your studying? I'm not sure
You join the Army because you want to. If you do some research and don't think 'that's the life for me', then go NHS.

If you're opinion is that "you're stuck in the Army" then you're probably not going to enjoy much of Army life. The Army is an 'end' itself, not a means to an end.
