i can imagine that pumped up steroid boys are not to everyone's taste.

What if I told you it is possible to have huge muscles without steroids? *gasp*

Yep. Skinny guys aren't taking care of themselves and aren't naturally manly. I'm guessing you're the one who wants to wear the pants in the relationship.

??
Not weird, everybody has their preferences
I find that I can't relate to most muscly buffed up guys. Many come across as incredibly uninspiring, rather dull 'american jock' types on most occasions.

This is probably just a compatibility thing. Please don't get offended ladies

You'd dominate the guy in the relationship, it wouldn't be an equal one.
Please can we keep this on-topic, and avoid insulting other users.

I'm trying to understand this logic, but failing.

Surely, then, if the guy was massive, then I'd be the one "dominated" and that wouldn't be an "equal" relationship either?

Should men and women only be together if they are of equal size/weight?

Yes, exactly!

The real-life guys I like tend to all follow that pattern, too.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.
They're my type. My mum likes to tease me about it.

Personally I find it's all a lot more fun if no one wears any pants at any time.
Girls who claim to like skinnier guys lack self esteem and know they don't have a chance with physically fit and strong guys.

Or y'know, they just like skinnier guys.

No it isn't. Everyone who's bigger than me isn't natural.

This isn't how relationships work.

How am I wrong?

I think you must know it isn't strange.
I don't like skinny or 'buff' guys. I like a bit of chub. Why would that ever be weird or wrong? We like what we like. And men are just the same - once someone manages to get past being surrounded by porn-addicted boys they see that at every turn. There is no ideal.

It's like guys who say they like flat chested girls, its just because that's the standard they have set their expectations. A good body on a girl is universally attractive, as is a good body on a man

Nothing is universally attractive, there will always be variations between people in what they find attractive.
I disagree with you regarding girls who like skinny guys. That is an absurd and illogical idea and it forces me to entertain the possibility that you are trolling. Also with regards to flat chested girls, I prefer them to huge bouncy breasts IMHO. I suppose Gandhi likes them big
