does working on your traps make your neck longer?

hey guys i have been working on my traps quite alot this is because i have a long neck and want to cover it up, so does it working on it make your neck longer? because my uncle said my neck has gone longer since the last time he seen me (*6month ago)

and what an alternative for traps to make my neck look shorter

No, the length of you neck is bound by your spine. The traps, when contracted together do extend the neck though but again, there movement would be limited.

No, working on your traps certainly does not make it longer.. if anything it will make it look shorter. You should definitely still try to develop them though.
