OASC Debrief

Hi all,

I've recently been to OASC applying to become a Pilot, made it through to Part II and am currently waiting for a decision on my application.

I have been sent a copy of my report by the Boarding Team at Cranwell and have been given a Final Board Grade of 3+/B+.

Can anyone explain what this means?

Many thanks.

Board grade is an overall grade given to you on your prefprmance over the course of OASC. 3+ is good, but it isn't worth comparing it to others to be honest. Everyone is different and for things like Pilot, aptitude holds a lot of weight.

BH is right. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the B+ part is a grade given to Aircrew candidates, A being the highest.

Good luck in the sift.
