I've applied to: stirling, strathclyde, abertay, aberdeen and napier. I have only heard back from abertay and was made a conditional offer of one B.

I'm really anxious to hear back from the other four so i can organise somewhere to live(student accomidation.)

I was wondering if anyone has been made any offers/ been rejected from any of the above?

Hi hope you are well I have similarly applied for Law at Napier, Edinburgh, Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian and University of Dundee but I havent heard back from any of them worryingly. Are you coming straight from school? What is your first choice?

Hi, ive applied to napier & strathclyde also, along with stirling, abertay and aberdeen.

Ive only jeard back from abertay, got a condition: 'B at any scottish higher'

Ive got friends who've applied to the same unis as you, minus edinburgh, none of them have heard anything so dont be to worried.

Yeah i'm in sixth year just now, so leaving straight from school. You?

My first choice is probably stirling or strathclyde, however a place anywhere would suit me just fine haha. What about you?

I'm actually in Edinburgh at the moment. The problem is you see I have lots of practical experience but I am weak academically. In my 5th year I did Computing - B Chemistry - C Biology - C Maths - D and English - No award. in my 6th year I did Psychology - A Forensic Science - A Advanced Higher Biology - D and Advanced Higher Computing - C so my grades are really not the best which is why I decided to do the Specialist Paralegal Qualification

it was around the 300 mark i think but the main problem is the lack of higher english which i tried to address in my personal statement but its up to the universities discretion.

My friend applied to abertay this year with one higher and no higher english and they gave him a conditional of BBC, one however has to be english. So i think even if you dont get in this year try again next year but do a higher english at college or something. However, i think youll be fine considering the real life experience youve got.

I guess it depends where I am offered a place. Have you had any work experience in the legal field?

That's fantastic I have had less with the court than I would have liked as it is a fascinsting place but apart from what I am doing, I had work experience for a week with Morton Fraser Solicitors in Edinburgh which was really enjoyable.

It started as just one of those careers id always wanted to do when i was younger, however, when it came to me picking my subjects the more i looked into it the more interesting it seemed, it was either that or air traffic control.
What about you?

Wow those are two very different career options but both are awesome lol. Well my fatherbis a practising solicitor so it really engaged me to the work he used to do and from there I am now working full time in our firm together. It's enjoyabkle but stressful at times because of the work load :top:

His firm is MBS Solicitors in Edinburgh. I work as a parlagelal at the moment but to hope to qualify fully at some point in the future. Did you have a hard time writing your personal statement, I felt mine was kinda all over the place
