What internet speeds are you getting at your halls?

I know most halls get good speeds, I'm getting 15mb now average, lol just wanted to get a general idea of what other people get.

Typically youtube videos play fine but when I catch up on shows on iplayer it buffers sometimes. :hmmm:

Does it make a difference what you're doing as the test runs? I'm streaming a film on SkyGo.

Generally my internet here is pretty good, sometimes have issues when streaming films but I think that's more from my laptop overheating than the internet speed!

Will be interesting to do it again when I get home tomorrow. Can't believe I never thought before to do a speed test and see what we get on Resnet.

I think it does affect the speed results if you are actively using the internet, but not by too much I should imagine :s-smilie:
