Bad eyes - can i still wear contacts?

I was wondering if there is a certain like limit up to where you can where contacts. Both my eyes are prettttty bad, like -7 or something (both), so do you think I could still wear contacts? :confused:

i think my friend is worse than that and he still has contacts. they dont work as well as glasses do, but its good enough for most situations.

I knewe someone who (before she had her eyes lasered) was about -12 in each eye and she wore contacts. She said her glasses were useless and she got much better vision with contacts. I think they may have been the hard more permanent ones though, rather than soft monthly lenses.

You cant get daily contacts if you are below a certain level.... I wear weaker prescription contacts when i play football because frankly, you dont have to be able to see perfectly as long as you can see the difference between the two kits. :p:

Dailies go up to about -12. My eyesight is worse than yours, and I've been using contacts for over year. Also, If you're a -7, you'll probably wear -6.50 contacts or something, since they don't need to be as strong.
