possible thrush???

i have had a itching/burning sensation down there for about a week now and i was wondering if it was thrush cause i have heard that you can be more vulnerable to it if you have recently been on antibiotics which i have. i should be getting a doctors appt for another unrelated issue next week anyway so should i mention this? i am a bit worried though as i don't really want anyone to look down there. has anyone gone to the doctors for this and did they have to look or did they just ask you what your symptoms were etc.?

I cant say for certain but it sounds like it could possibly be thrush, have you been having increased/unusual discharge to? Ive never been to the doctor about it so I cant say if they'll examine you or not. Maybe buy some thrush treatment from the chemist and if it doesnt improve by your appointment bring it up then?
