suggestive comments...

Me and my boyfriend were together for 2 years but split up about a month and a half ago as it wasnt working out and we hardly ever saw eachother. We live an hour away from eachother too so that also made it hard. We argued a lot at first but now we've started texting and stuff again as friends. The thing is, recently he keeps making sexual remarks and I dont want him to. I've tried ignoring them but I dont know what to say. He makes suggestive comments, then when I ignore him or try to change the subject he texts back with 'dont say you wouldnt enjoy it' etc

Its confusing me. Should I tell him straight to stop it? I dont want to upset him as its been difficult getting the relationship back on a friendship level. Do you think he still has feelings for me and this is why hes doing it? Help please!

Maybe hes started texting you because he thought thats what you wanted, and thats why you were replying. Blokes i've been out with often think, ah right shes texting me, therefore she wants me back and that really isnt the case. If you just tell him that you've worked hard to keep him as a friend because you really think that you shouldnt stop talking then im sure he will understand. If he doesnt then you know that he was only talking to you for one thing. But hes only your friend now, therefore he doesnt have a say about what you want out of your life and even from him, and therefore you've got to take control and tell him what you want, or might not.

Just tell him straight, your only really encouraging him more by not telling him to stop. At the end of the day you need to put your feelings first, not his.

Just tell him to stop. I had a bf like that. In fact he's still trying to chat me up and more 3 years on... I just ignore the comments now and rarely talk to him so he doesnt get a chance. There are much better guys to be friends with/date out there. Not that hard to make new friends.
Good luck though. He sounds like he has a one track mind...
