Some Questions

On the UCAS form, when you've entered your AS subjects it says:

For AS subjects please enter when you plan to 'certificate' your AS.

What do they mean by 'certificate'?

Also does anyone know the month results for the edecxel january sittings come out.

And in the employment section, do I put any tuition I've done or any free-lance work, like translation?

And the awarding body selection, does the 'E' mean Edexcel?

Employment is paid stuf only. So if you got paid, put it down.

January results come out in March.

For AS results, enter August if you completed all AS modules in the summer and don't intend to resit any.

Paid meaning taxable income? What if it's just an 'allowance', rather than a 'salary'?

Paid can mean whatever you want it to. If you think that counts, then it can count. However, allowances are usually to cover expenses, and thus are not really paid work

I was just bringing up the point as here in Singapore, we receive a small allowance when we're conscripted into the army. We've been told to declare that conscription as work experience... probably because it's for a sizeable duration (2 years+).

Yes E means Edexcel
Certificate means when you plan on getting the certificates - i.e. are you cashing them in? So Summer 2006 if you're not retaking, Summer 2007 if you are
Freelance work counts too yes, and yes I would put down the army too.
