C4 Partial Fractions

Hi,

I'm having some difficulty writing the following as partial fractions (well, getting the answer the same as the Edexcel book)

a) (3x^2 +12x + 8) / ((x+2)^3)

b) (x^4) / (x^2 -2x +1)

Any help would be much appreciated-I know how to divide to stop the fraction being improper, but can't seem to do the repeated part ( as its x+2 cubed in (a) and x-1 squared in (b)

(a)
Unparseable latex formula:

\frac{3x^2+12x+8}{(x+2)^3}= \frac{A}{x+2}+ \frac{B}{(x+2)^2}+ \frac{C}{(x+2)^&3}

(b) x4=(x2+2x+3)(x22x+1)+4x3 x^4=(x^2+2x+3)(x^2-2x+1)+4x-3

(a)3x^2+12x+8=A(x+2)^2+B(x+2)+C
You should be able to get the answers from this.
