Just as this thread says, what in your opinion is the "smartest" degree? By smartest, I mean if someone was doing this degree, you would immediately think "Wow, they must be a ****ing genius
" It would be nice if you also gave a reason for thinking this as well
I understand that these things are subjective and that there will be no overall "correct" answer, but feel free to go for whatever you like.
P.S. No insulting other degrees. Just because you think that doing X or Y is not a worthwhile contribution to society doesn't mean that it it only for idiots
Once I see some of the most popular answers, I'll think about making a poll for people to vote
I'll kick it off - I think that it's maths, because it is a fundamental part of life and can be found where ever you look, not to mention that the stuff covered in a maths course is mind blowing

90.
90 degrees is a PROPER angle.180, that's just ridiculous, it's not even an angle, it's just flat. Same with 0. Whereas 90... 90 just knows. It knows what an angle is and it knows how to become. 90, as a degree, IS the smartest.
EDIT: 100 reps, still stuck on 7 gems and nowhere near 8. LOL...

I'd say Mathematics. Obviously there are lots of extremely difficult degrees but from my experience of the subject, I have an extreme amount of respect for anyone studying Mathematics beyond A Level.

again im probably biased but I've heard from friends that Physics is more than challenging. When i tell people I want to study Physics they do tend to look at me funny and question if I'm crazy or not...so it would be either that or Maths for me!
