Sport at UCL?

Hi.

I currently hold an offer for Law at UCL for 2014 entry and I am seriously considering firming UCL.

I was just wondering if any current students could give me an insight into sports at UCL, especially hockey and football. I've played both on-and-off for years and I'd say I'm decent enough at both, but not particularly outstanding at either. So I wanted to know how high the standards are? I enjoy playing competitive hockey but don't want to be miles off everyone else in terms of ability.

Also, what is it like joining other sports for fun/social aspect? Without sounding arrogant (believe me!), I think I'm the sort of person who can pick up most sports to an alright standard, I have pretty good hand-eye coordination etc. Anyway, I'd like to try at least one new - perhaps unorthodox - sport but pretty much from scratch, so any info would be much appreciated!
