:ditto: Especially as there tend to be very distinct topics in history exams, so it shouldn't be too difficult for the examiner to work out which question you did. At worst it may put them in a slightly bad mood, but I'm sure this happens all the time and they're used to it by now. Don't worry about it.

lol dis is a real tragedy lol, i am sure they'll be able to read it. howver after if inihed my history exam i realised that i hadnt written any of the question mnumbers so me and a frend (had da same problem) got dem to give us our papers back after da exam whislt dey let us put in page numbers...not to say dat it was necessay im just picky liek dat and write alot so i was scared da examiner will say **** off to ma paper as it is hard to find questions..

neways i realised after that i put AQA for ma examine board instead of EDEXCEl as we had da same booklet as we did for ma english exams. you reckon ima get a U cause of it lol

i never write what question i do on the front of the booklet
don't worry. examiners must get that all the time.

If it's any consolation, you are not alone - I forgot to put the numbers of questions on the front the 1st of two A level Sociology papers which were one after the other. I didn't realise this until the end of the 2nd exam, by which time I thought it was too late, so I just told the invigilator who said not to worry.

So long as it's on the inside of the paper you will be fine.
youve got the question number in the margin so shouldnt be too hard to work out for the examiner.

i know i didnt do it for all mine either

Edexcel history was a bloody nightmare finding the right question!!! There were so many! grrr. I wouldnt be surprised if most people had put or done the wrong number.

I know, the exam paper was so thick! What was even more annoying was reading the contents page and looking at all the other topics we could have done that seemed a million times more interesting
I freaked out in FP1 and forgot to write numbers on front. I don't think they'd mark you down though, it would be pointless.
i'm the opposite - i think i put the questions i did on the front page but forgot to put it in the margin whilst i was doing it for my last exam. oh well.

I have never bothered with doing this. In fact, when an invigilator pointed it out at the end of the last exam, I think I looked slightly confused.

I never put it on the front page.. plus maybe the examiner would enjoy tracing question  joking
the reason its their is so the examiner knows weather u read the front of the paper or not. if you dont read the instructions then you dont put the question numbers you dront draw a line under each question. well thats what i heard from someone anyway, dont know if its true or not.
In my latin gcse i forgot to put the paper reference, does this matter??
