No ive not got a barbell,i dont realy have any bench or anything to lie on,so all i could do with it is arm curls, which i can do with dumbells. why? do i need a barbell?
Do you not have a local leisure centre? They don't always require expensive memberships, so maybe you could just go for a few sessions a week. They will have professionals there to tell you what machines to use depending on what muscles you want to build. They might advise you on the best way to maximise your dumbell efforts

barbells are useful for squats and deadlifts, not just bench pressing
I have very little knowledge on the subject but, as instructed by my brother, I have been doing deadlifts (I think) of 3 x 8 reps, twice a week, starting on 60kg and increasing it every week (now on 100kg).

After only 2 months it appears to have worked very well. At as little as 10 mins a session, thats just 2.5 hours of effort. (Although it is very hard work).
Is it me or has a secret been revelead...? Who the anonymous OP was..? Is it jax2kn1..? Lolz...
