STOP doing all nighters!

I always tell people this when they say they will do an all nighter or something. It will do more harm than good:

Sleep commits memories to long term storage, you don't sleep enough, you will remember less.

All-nighters are only useful for things where you don't have to think, such as if you have to repeat multiple simulations on the computer and record them in a spreadsheet. And even then, try to run them during the day while you're doing other stuff.
It also wrecks your sleep pattern for days afterwards.

It often seems a good idea at the time (ie. in an emergency, with a deadline tomorrow) but then it messes up several days afterwards when you don't manage to do anything productive so was it really worth it?

Well, if that deadline is the only thing you have to currently worry about, you can spend a few days after feeling like ****.

Ah deadline is a bit different granted, but I was thinking about revising.
