Pregnant looking stomach!

What the title states really. From as early as i can remember, i even have pictures showing it when i was 7ish, my stomach area looks as if i'm pregnant. From about where the uterus would be to just underneath my breasts, there is like a bump, more prominent from bully button area down.

I was very active when younger (up until about 14) and i've got back into exercise, eating healthy etc within the past year, still have this bump though. I've had to live with it, but recently some more people were making comments and it's really gotten to me again (i was bullied at high school because of it). Has anyone got any suggestions at all on what it is, if it's just my shape, how to get rid of it?!?! I was thinking maybe it's bloating?.. Just don't know! :frown:

(By the way i'm meaning pregnant as is someone was say a couple of months, not a huge bump!)

could be water retention. Does it feel fatty or is it harder?

Mainly feels fatty, where the uterus would be feels a little bit harder, not much difference though

do sit up improve it. Im thinking it may be weak muscles which arnt retaining the stuff they should, so it kinda isnt held in.

Read about this before somewhere. Turned out to be their dead twin they'd been carrying around inside them all their life. Ace.

shud only be a fat lump. i used to have one but got it removed shub be fine. if it grows alot then consult your doctor immediately.

Shall i consult a doctor first then? Or try doing a large amount of sit ups and see if there is any improvement?

I hope it's not a dead twin!
I used to have that as a kid (i think), if you make sure that you have a straight back and your stomach is pulled in all (most) of the time - it shouldn't be visible. Do sit ups, they help! But you will have to keep it pulled in consciosly (sp?), then it will become a reflex just like for me :p: My friends wonder why I don't have a belly although I'm not exactly thin :rolleyes: xx
hey i have this problem too, and i have no idea how to get rid of it. ever since i was a kid its been there, maybe because i always slouch ? i dont know.
its not noticeable reli but is if im in a bikini or sumthing, makes me a little self conscious at times and would love there to be a solution so if any1 has one, please tell thee! im quite thin as well, just seems like the fat is stored in my stomach and is all squidgy :frown: lol.
