Arabic or Middle East Studies?

Annoyingly, the Middle Eastern Studies page is not linked from the undergraduate programme web site so I'm hoping someone here may possibly be able to answer my question!

How do the Arabic and Middle East Studies differ? Where can I find a module listing for each?

I'm primarily interested in Middle Eastern history/politics - and, to a slightly lesser extent, Islam and Arabic literature - though I'm keen to learn Arabic to substantiate these interests.

Am still not sure whether to go down the route of applying for Arabic (and International Relations) or History and Politics but would appreciate all input on this topic!
