Partner (male) has never orgasmed from sex

Had sex for the first time with the guy I'm seeing last night. 20 minutes into it, he tells me he has never orgasmed from intercourse or oral sex from any of his 6 previous sexual partners and he didn't with me either.

We chatted after and he basically used to spend hours masturbating. I asked how frequently he still did it and he said that he had abstained for the last two weeks but still didn't reach anywhere near orgasm (!!). We did use a condom as I'm not currently on the pill but I wonder if even not having to use a condom would make a difference??

This is completely new to me. It sounds fairly crude but I've never been with a guy and not been able to bring him to orgasm - sex is now completely different.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Any ideas on what I could suggest? Any other information or experience dealing with something like this?

Not uncommon, I have a similar problem and I have always had long masturbation sessions myself. Obviously it's nothing to do with you, so try not to get irrational about it. I recommend the following:
- Complete abstinence from masturbation (though two weeks is quite long enough, surely...)
- Non-goal-directed sex
- Lots of foreplay and dirty talk
- Ditch the condom
- Don't be tempted to finish him off with your hands

This is surprisingly common and oddly very rarely discussed. You can google it up using suitable proper words for the search. Key to cure is relaxation not extra "effort". Self help therapy is available.
It is possible that things will change without a condom, but make sure you both see GP's get checked for STI's and make sure you have other birth control measures in place, see GP for this too.

Did he always use a condom with his previous partners? If so, then the above is more possible.

Thanks for the advice. He said that he became addicted to porn - I guess that's a cause of some sort of psychological issue?

He said he had used a condom every time but once but for some reason he didn't seem to count it - I didn't press the issue

Porn and stuff can't cause that problem. That is a different issue. Men can learn simple relaxation techniques. Nothing to it really once they know what to do.

I'm in a similar position with my boyfriend. Not using a condom doesn't make a difference for us. The only advice I've gotten is to tell him to abstain from masturbating.
