Spam!! You asked this in your other thread. I just told you that you didn't! How could it possibly cost him his job. 'Sorry we're going to fire you because a pupil fancies you'. Come on that's just ridiculous. Loads and loads and loads of schoolgirls fancy their teachers. Calm down!

i created this thread before i read your answer sorry. i apoligise for that. thank you for replying. i told another teacher....i made it soo obvoius....i think hes gone funny with me..

There is absolutely no way you will have cost him his job. Don't worry about that.

He probably has gone funny with you because
a) He doesn't want to lead you on
b) Because if he keeps being so nice and friendly with you when everyone knows that you fancy him then it could be misconstrued as inappropriate behaviour on his part. He's not trying to be mean but he wants to avoid trouble. People are obsessed with paedophiles these days! He could lose his job over that. But NOT what has happened so far or from anything that you have done.

No. Although, had I a student like you, I would summarily resign.

have i got a chance to get things back to normal with him? like having conversations with him. i was never going to do anything inappropriate though.

youve put my mind at rest thank you! i wasnt going to to jeopardise his job then ...how paranoid was that!

No, I'm sure you weren't, and he wasn't either probably, but people are so up in arms about the slightest hint of paedophilia or inappropriate student-teacher relationships that they'd pounce on him given half the chance. If it's known you fancy him and then you two spend lots of time talking or he gives you any special treatment, then it just looks dodgy. Umm I'm not sure if things will get back to the way they were because it really depends on the teacher, hopefully it'll go back to him treating you like just an ordinary student, but I wouldn't expect any special treatment or anything!
