For a girl, probably Anastasia and/or Myrtle, I just feel they are right. Although in the case of anastasia, her name would probably be shortened to Anna (Anderson) which is my mum's name
For a boy it would probably be Nicholas, or something I made up, like Rani, or something

Yes, I agree it is prettier and is how I pronounce it naturally, so that would be the pronunciation and it is the less common one - all the more reason
