I would like to know who you think played the best James Bond, and which you think is the best film. If you wish. Mine is Sean Connery and all the Bonds are my favourite.

Dalton gets some critics because he played it as a bit of an 80 'New Man' but he was, in a way, a precursor to Craig's kind of portrayal. Although Dalton was properly suave.

I suspect that most people would gravitate towards the campishly handsome charm of Moore when they are very young.
I do have a soft spot for some of the films that he happened to be in.

But I've never been a 'Bond fan'.

Two of the best Bond films for me are Goldeneye and Skyfall.

Goldeneye is iconic for having 3 great things - great film, great N64 game and great theme tune.
The film was well directed and has a dark and moody Russian atmosphere.

Skyfall was Dench's swansong. It's interesting how, apart from a train sequence, the film relies relatively little on stunts. It's a character piece that you could watch without regarding it as a Bond film if you want. It's arguably a bit dry and boring actually but you invest in it due to the direction and acting.

It's utterly right that Sam Mendes should be director again on the next Bond film, even if it only serves to enhance Skyfall.

Difficult for me to decide as I love all the Bond movies and actors. Roger Moore was hilarious, Pierce Brosnan was charming and suave while Daniel Craig brings a darker and more violent side to 007. If I had to choose, I'd say Pierce Brosnan is the best Bond as I grew up with his films. My favourite film is probably between GoldenEye, Skyfall, The Living Daylights, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough.

I need to sit down from the start and watch them all. Apart from the Brosnan's, Craig's and a few Moore's I've only seen a few dotted around.

Sean Connery has been the best. Wasn't sure at first, but Daniel Craig has been getting better in the role.

Roger Moore was personally my favourite Bond followed by Sean Connery. Live and Let Die is my favourite Bond movie and then Goldfinger. Cannot stand Daniel Craig as Bond or the new movies.

Craig has definitely been the best. I loved Casino Royale but I think Skyfall pipped it.

Pierce Brosnan in Die another day <3
Everyone hates that film but it's my favourite! :'(
OT: Either Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan. Probably Sean is a better Bond but Pierce a better actor for action.
Least favourite is by far Daniel Craig.

Sean Connery or Daniel Craig. Timothy Dalton was good in The Living Daylights, but not Licence to Kill.

Never really saw the appeal of Brosnan or Moore though, and Die Another Day is not a sin that can be forgiven easily.

I liked the Rodger Moore films, because he made me laugh too much to be serious, but I guess the best james bond film (for me ) would be Casino Royal with Daniel Craig.
