I've been to 3 child nursing interviews this year; you tend to have to do a basic math test, which if you are allowed a calculator isn't that hard and then an English test which usually requires you to either do a comprehension task on a small text or a title is given to you such as 'what is the role of a child nurse' - both these tests last for 20minutes. The group discussion usually involves you being put into small groups of 4/5 and the interviewer asks a few questions such as 'why is diversity relevant to nursing' 'what skills do child nurses require' -they tend to be general so that everyone in the group can usually think of something to say. Overall, on average my interviews have lasted about 3.5 hours each. Good luck
