Not something I am worried about, just more curious as to the why and the how.
I woke up at 6 this morning, stretched, and instantly had this crippling cramp in my right calf. I've had it before but never this bad. I was rolling about on my bed in agony, trying desperately not to scream and wake the entire house up! Within a minute it went I went back to sleep. I wake up this morning and I have to limp everywhere lol.
So what I want to know....
a) Why do we get cramp in bed b) Is there anyway of preventing it c) Why does it still effect us 4 hours later when we get up
a) God's way of telling us lazy buggers to get the hell up. b) Salt, apparently. Have also heard good things about potassium in bananas. c) Be grateful that the pain doesn't remain a WEEK after the original cramp.
