I want to transfer to a different university. I've done my research and the university I want to move to have said they'll consider my application. Now the sole reason I want to move is because its a better university. Also, they have strong links with industry making it easier to be employed in the end. Now for writing my Personal Statement can I use this for my reason(s) to moving to their university? Or would it just look/sound bad?

That would probably sound fine on a personal statement but personally I do think just wanting to go to a better university on its own isn't really enough to move. Fair enough if your not happy at your current one, but in today's climate just going to a better university with good industry links isn't enough on its own to help you get a job, you need to be proactive as well writing to companies to get work experience in between summers and for that going to a better university won't necessarily give you a leg up, and if you don't like the modules then you'll regret moving.
