Ignore her in the hope that she will come and talk to me. She never does, but hey. :p:

Become friends with said girl, then find out a few years later she used to fancy me but now just wants to be friends :P... naa I dont usually have the confidence to do it... But for some reason somehow it usually works out anyway (3 girls in the last 3 years... then again there have only been 5 months when I havnt had a girlfriend )

I drink about 6 pints before leaving the premises, feeling like the pathetic individual I am.

Anyways, I've never found one of the gfs in a pub/club setting anyways :p:
Show that you're interested in her. If she does the same then wait see if she comes over, if not why not move towards her. If she moves away then you know she either not interested or just shy of you..Both of you have got nothing to lose , but both of you have everthing to gain.lf you both do have an interest in each other.

Just walk over to her, introduce yourself, give her a complement and offer to buy her a drink (if your in a pub/club), if she is really interested the rest should take care of itself.
I wouldn't have a chance, so the confidence question is irrelevant.

buying her a drink is a two edged sword becasue many girls will go yeah ok thanks thn when you hand to them walk away and your out a fiver, So go up introduce yourself and go from there, you will know straight away if shes interested from the reactions he gives

I'm apparently 'spoken-for', so the entire question is irrelevant.
