I have tried a lot solving those questions without reaching to an answer :(

C4 exercise 6i question 1 d and e. Question 1 i have found the area but i cant find the volume, while question e i have solved the area like in the photo and bi parts and i have got 4/3 while the answer is 8/3. Please help. ImageUploadedByStudent Room1392204628.979043.jpg.

Post the questions. We don't all have the text books.
And 4-x^2 does NOT equal (2-x)^2

There are a variety of ways of integrating x(4−x2)x\sqrt(4-x^2)
By Parts
By substitution u=4−x2u=4-x^2
By inspection, noting that ∫f′(x)(f(x))ndx=1n+1(f(x))n+1 \int f'(x)(f(x))^n dx=\frac{1}{n+1}(f(x))^{n+1}

Ohh thanks. I have solved question 1 e using the substitution method. But i'm still stuck in number d :/
