I am a qualified dispenser for Boots, I now have to do the healthcare advisor programme. Can anyone tell me if the exams are hard? I do know they are multiple choice. I get £7.71 per hour just now will this rate go up when I pass the healthcare exams?

I have a friend who works for Boots, she is a pharmacy student so found the healthcare course quite easy. She said it was what she learned in first year, so if you are a pharmacy student you should be fine.

If you aren't, then not to worry, the books that you get with it are useful and have all the answers in them. Your rate of pay should go up, but she was a customer assistant first and then became a healthcare assistant because of the course her pay went up. I find it interesting that you were able to train as a dispenser without doing the healthcare training.

Hope that help, anymore questions I will try to help otherwise I will have to ask my friend.
